Peter James Mikhail has been working as an actor in the Nation’s Capital since 2014; including work in the Washington DC Branch of Off Broadway Hit Drunk Shakespeare, Grassroot Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing and the Tempest, Theatre Prometheus’s Or, and Anon(ymous) and Dreamer/Seeker at Capital Fringe.

He is an experienced stage combatant with certifications from the Society of American Fight Directors in Unarmed, Knife, Small Sword, Sword and Shield, and Single Sword. He’s worked extensively with Fight Master Robb Hunter and the Noble Blades, The DC area's premier professionally trained and community-based stage combat troupe.

Having worked as a Stage Manager, Assistant Director, Playwright, and Props Designer, Peter has an extensive understanding of the ins and outs of theatre performance both On Stage and Backstage and before, during, and after a production.

Peter received a B.A. in Theatre Performance and Political Science from American University in 2018. He worked with instructors, playwrights and directors such as Caleen Sinette Jennings and Aaron Posner. He also attended the British American Drama Academy’s Midsummer in Oxford program in 2017 studying with professors from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, the London Academy of Music Art and Drama and Yale University. Peter Joined the Actor’s Equity Association in 2023.
